Sincere attitude and its value
I believe that a good relationship in between a teacher and her/his learners is developed on a solid foundation of observance, mutual understanding and trust. To efficiently evaluate learners' desires and needs, the teacher should first understand trainees and the place they are coming from. The teacher should be the first to create great interaction, as not all moms and dads and students will reveal that initiative. She/he needs to also want to inform about her/his personal hopes to the trainees; with a sincere treatment toward her/his students and showing a care for their study and their lives is very important when doing this. If the teacher and trainees realise each other's goals and viewpoints, the building elements of mutual respect are developed. Both tutors and students seek and deserve respect as humans and individuals; teachers likewise seek respect in the professional sense yet have to take care of the way they stick to it. As a mentor, I will adopt a position of authority, however I do not want to be an autocratic or tyrant. I will also have the opportunity to be a buddy and trustee to many of my students, however I will not step over the line of competence.
Teaching, learning and experience
I am sure that in order to stimulate knowing in the very best way feasible, the mentor should be enthusiastic about the topic being learned, even if her or his trainees aren't. She/he has to be the trainer for the learners, and explain the benefits about each trainee's action in a sincere method, along with constructive criticism. The tutor must want to hear and compromise, however be firm in her/his guarantees and decisions.
A teacher is not only an instructor however a lifelong student. That's why, she/he should also keep to develop her/his wealth of professional knowledge, taking extra courses, improving her or his rate and attending meetings and events with fellow teachers to interchange ideas and theories and discover innovative things to provide her/his students the latest information possible.
My approach of teaching is based on exactly what I know and have face at this point in my work. I am sure that my mentor philosophy will change as I find out more as a new expert. That is one of the benefits of being human; we do take wrong steps, or find out something new, and upgrade. I am delighted about the upcoming chances.
